Hi, I'm Stacie.

I’m an entrepreneur, author, and mentor — and I’ve rebuilt my life more than once from the ground up. What I’ve learned through all of it is that clarity always comes before meaningful change. And that most people never stop long enough to find it.

That’s what brought me to this work.

The Moment Everything Changed

In 2012 the 28-year marriage I had built my life around ended. Suddenly and completely.

I remember standing in the middle of what felt like a demolition site. Every assumption I had about my future, my identity, my direction, gone. I felt like Humpty Dumpty with all the pieces of me scattered across the floor. The anger came first. Raw, clarifying, necessary. But anger only takes you so far before it starts working against you.

What I needed wasn’t motivation or a new vision board. I needed to understand what had actually happened — to me, inside me — and make conscious decisions about what came next. Not react. Not perform recovery. Actually see clearly and choose my future deliberately. Intentionally.

But the journey didn’t stop at self-understanding. The deeper I went, the more curious I became, not just about my own experience but about the human condition as a whole. What drives us. What stops us. How we form the beliefs we live by without ever questioning them. How we lose ourselves in roles and obligations and wake up one day not quite recognizing the life we’re living. That curiosity — about the humanness of all of us, not just myself — is what ultimately shaped this work. I wasn’t just seeking to heal. I was seeking to understand.

That process of learning to see my own life honestly, to examine it without judgment, identify what actually needed to shift, and move forward with intention rather than reaction  became the foundation for everything I now do.

Modern Consciousness® grew out of that season. Not as a concept I borrowed from someone else’s stage. As something I lived my way into.

What I Bring to This Work

My background doesn’t look like most people’s in this space and that’s intentional.

I’ve acquired a $50M software company with no cash upfront. I’ve built and navigated businesses and careers across technology, federal consulting, construction, hospitality, and even bred award-winning llamas! I’ve lived through the kind of personal transitions that rewrite everything you thought you knew about yourself.

What all of that gave me isn’t a method borrowed from a certification program. It’s a deeply trained ability to see patterns, identify what’s actually driving a situation, and find the lever that creates real movement. I think in systems. I see the big picture and the details at the same time. And I’ve learned,  through genuine trial and error across wildly different domains,  that clarity is always the prerequisite to meaningful change.

That’s what I built the Clarity Sequence™ and the Elevate Your Life® Mentorship to deliver. A structured process for seeing your life clearly and when you’re ready, a working relationship to help you build what comes next.

“Stacie has one of the brighter minds I’ve ever met.” — Jack Canfield, Award-Winning Speaker & Internationally Recognized Leader in Personal Development

“We each have the full power to elevate ourselves and, more importantly, our inner peace through conscious living. Know that, whatever your story is, it can be enhanced or replaced with an even better one.

I invite you to step off of the treadmill of your life and pay attention to what calls to you from deep within.”

The Book

Treasure Map to Joy™: One Woman’s Journey from Disruption to Joy — Amazon Bestseller

The book follows one woman’s transformation through the kind of major life disruption most of us will face at some point — and what becomes possible on the other side of it.

It explores joy not as a feeling to chase but as an inner state to cultivate. It reframes loss as a catalyst rather than a failure, and big life changes as disruptions rather than destruction.

It examines the role of emotional intelligence — how our emotions aren’t obstacles but clues, navigation tools pointing us toward what’s true. And at its core it’s about choice and personal agency — the recognition that however circumstances arrive, how we respond always remains within our control.

Perhaps most importantly, Treasure Map to Joy™ it’s about reclaiming identity. Who you are beyond the roles you’ve carried — chosen or prescribed by others — and what becomes available when you stop defining yourself by them.

It’s for anyone standing in the middle of their own disruption wondering what comes next.

A Little More of Who I Am

A resume tells only part of one’s story.  Here’s the rest…

I’m a researcher at heart, a deep thinker, and an analyst by nature. When something lands strongly — an observation, a cultural pattern, a contradiction I can’t stop turning over — I’ll spend time pulling it apart, studying it, and writing my way toward understanding it. That same instinct drives my programs, my conversations, and everything I put my name on.

I don’t follow the crowd or the trends. I’ve forged every career I’ve ever had without formal training — self-taught, supported by good mentors, and fueled by an unshakeable belief that I could learn, adapt, and eventually excel at whatever I chose to pursue. A lot of people told me I couldn’t along the way. I found that motivating.

My confidence has never come from already being good at something. It comes from trusting that I can figure it out. That’s a distinction that matters, and it’s one I bring to the women I work with.

I once sailed from Key West to Cuba on a yacht I purchased without knowing a single thing about sailing. I’ve worked alongside organizations rescuing trafficked children in India, an experience that permanently expanded how I see the world and what actually constitutes a step forward for someone. I’ve learned that some of my biggest wins came from saying no — and that it often takes more courage to say no than yes.

I share a home with two senior Papillons who remind me daily what it looks like to give and receive love without complication and with grace.

As a mentor my style is direct but never harsh. I ask a lot of questions — because if you don’t ask the right ones, you don’t get the right answers. I strive to really understand people and their situations and offer suggestions based on that rather than prescribed answers. I acknowledge what you share, including the emotions underneath it. I know when to pursue something and when to back off and leave you sitting with it. I don’t judge where you are. I meet you there. And if you’re genuinely stuck but unwilling to see things differently, I’ll ask you the question nobody else has asked yet — because that’s usually where the real conversation begins.

I live between Florida and Northern Virginia and am currently in the middle of my own season of transition, which honestly only deepens my respect for the women who show up and do this work. I can assure you that I am grateful for all that I have learned — and teach — as it is supporting me in ways I never imagined.
