I’m an entrepreneur, author, and mentor — and I’ve rebuilt my life more than once from the ground up. What I’ve learned through all of it is that clarity always comes before meaningful change. And that most people never stop long enough to find it.
That’s what brought me to this work.
The Moment Everything Changed
In 2012 the 28-year marriage I had built my life around ended. Suddenly and completely.
I remember standing in the middle of what felt like a demolition site. Every assumption I had about my future, my identity, my direction, gone. I felt like Humpty Dumpty with all the pieces of me scattered across the floor. The anger came first. Raw, clarifying, necessary. But anger only takes you so far before it starts working against you.
What I needed wasn’t motivation or a new vision board. I needed to understand what had actually happened — to me, inside me — and make conscious decisions about what came next. Not react. Not perform recovery. Actually see clearly and choose my future deliberately. Intentionally.
